In a world where it is so easy to change your appearance, it's important to teach our children to be comfortable in their own skin. No matter their hair colour, eye colour or skin colour.

 

Hi, I'm Lauren.

I am the owner and creator behind Mirror Me World.

I come from a mixed race family and had one black doll growing up. They just weren’t something you'd find on the shop shelves! And you definitely couldn’t find any that showed what you might look like if your dad's black and your mum's white like mine are. 

Fast forward to 25 when I had my eldest daughter. I was so shocked to see that it was still just as hard to find a doll that looked anything like her. This is when Mirror Me World was born.

I decided I was going to create a doll that looked like her, and that quickly evolved to creating a miniature doll family that represented what our family looks like. Now we offer a growing collection designed to reflect the beauty of diversity.
